ocean seismic exercise

This A-level standard practical exercise allows students to re-examine the assumptions that underpin conventional ideas about the internal structure of the ocean crust and nature of the Moho boundary.

It allows them to use real data to come up with alternative interpretations for the seismic structure and thereby to question long-held 'text-book' models for the formation and structure of ocean crust."
